still waiting for a court date

As we continue to wait, we heard yesterday that the delay is due to a mistake in Chernet's birth certificate. As soon as the corrected birth certificate makes it to the adoption agency, they will re-file us for court. Compared to dates already being issued, the earliest we could go for our first trip will be the end of October. That would put our second trip and homecoming for the kids, late December. We are thankful the mistake was caught now rather than when we are there and denied at court. Our new prayer request is that we get to bring them home before the end of this year. It sure would make for an unforgettable Christmas!
