The Gift

Psalm 51:12 "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit."

The adoption gift of $12,000 is the largest monetary gift we've ever received. It doesn't compare, however, to the gift God has given us in sacrificing His son. The gift of $12,000 will pay for our airfare and travel expenses to bring our children home. God's gift of salvation pays for our sins so that we can one day go to our eternal home. It's because of God's gift that we even have the desire to adopt 3 more children into our family. It's because of God's gift that we can be blown away and blessed by the $12,000 gift. Our shock and excitement over our adoption expenses being paid for should pale in comparison to our sins being cleared.
